Prof. Hanqing Fan earned his B.S. from Peking University, an M.S. from Stanford, and a Ph.D. from Columbia, followed by postdoctoral research at Yale and Rice. He joined Peking University in 2026 as a Boya Assistant Professor in the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering, Department of Environmental Engineering.
